Upon spotting our covert entrance, you’ll venture into our exclusive venue and into a haven of 1920s atmosphere, masterfully-crafted cocktails and stylized live music. Here at the original San Diego speakeasy bar, Prohibition, we go unseen by most people in our underground, secret bar. It is an ideal venue for those who do not simply desire to read or watch films about the Great Gatsby lifestyle; they’d rather live it.
Whether escaping daily life on a weekday evening or celebrating a milestone such as a birthday, business events, bachelor party or bachelorette party, you are sure to have a cultivated, classic experience at San Diego’s secret bar – open Tuesday through Sunday nights.
Just remember, after descending into this hidden nightlife scene, one must be ready to be immersed in a truly sensory experience.
Dress code is enforced Friday & Saturday. Please help us keep the 1920s vibe!
No athletic gear or ball caps. Gentleman, we ask that you keep the flip-flops, T-shirts, graphic T-s & shorts at home. Ladies, please swap the yoga pants, sweatshirts and sweatpants for something snazzy! Female flip-flops may be allowed at security’s discretion.
Sunday – Thursday, c’mon out in your relaxed getup! However, security may enforce dress code based on special circumstances.
How Does One Enter?
No reservations. No call aheads. It’s simply about showing up, spotting our unassuming Law Office door and seeing where this underground venue of the San Diego nightlife scene will take you.
This chic, secret bar tends to fill up with fellow drink and music enthusiasts quite quickly, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. To make sure you’re one of the lucky ones to experience this debonair San Diego bar, we recommend coming before 9 pm on Fridays and Saturdays if you have a group of 6 or more.
